About

As a professionally registered architect based in Washington, DC, my work is grounded in projects that provide meaningful, visitor-centered experiences for museums, civic centers, and memorials.

I am currently an Exhibit Design Manager at the Smithsonian’s National Air and Space Museum, where I provide art direction and guide the design of the new galleries and common areas for the National Mall Building's extensive museum-wide renovation. In the past, I have developed a variety of exhibits and multimedia experiences for the Smithsonian’s National Museum of American History, the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum and the National Civil Rights Museum. My experience with master planning projects include pedestrian-focused planning and streetscape design for major urban destinations such as The Wharf and others in Washington, DC and beyond.

Outside of my museum work, I am also a practicing artist. My current studio art practice combines drawing and handcraft with emerging materials and technologies. I have exhibited regionally with Chroma Projects (Charlottesville, VA), Target Gallery (Alexandria, VA) and at the (e)merge Art Fair (Washington, DC); received grant funding through local and national organizations; and served on juries with the Corcoran School and the Alliance for Young Artists and Writers.

I always welcome the opportunity for thoughtful collaboration. To view my design portfolio or reach out about collaborations and commissions, please contact me here.
